Just testing out the video’s for the S.O.S. TV

Say you and family members in your home started seeing shadows and movement like some one walking past you, out of the corner of your eye… This and hearing the occasional disembodied voice… How long would you wait before investigating it, or would you at all.

OK So I have my girls go brush their teeth for bed time, My 5 year old has had a loose tooth for the past couple days. She gets the idea to try and gross her big sister out by wiggling the tooth saying Look it’s gonna fall out….

She had no clue that it was going to and yup it did. See she has a fear of blood if she sees it she tends to flip out, so she starts running from the living-room to the bathroom she was knocking stuff over all over the place, unsure as what to do with the tooth & the blood she has on her hand LOL She kind of reminded me of the dog from the move “Because of Winn-Dixie” during the thunderstorm. That is the panic she was in, bless her little heart.

I Finally got her to calm down by telling her the tooth fairy pays extra when the tooth comes out on it’s own. That got her mind off the blood & brought a smile back to her face, She said YAY I can’t wait to see all those bills LOL

I was sitting in my living-room and heard a big boom that shook the house…

At first I didn’t think much of it has I live near 2 military bases and a rock & sand quarry so I thought it might have been one of them blasting away, then I got thinking the sound wasn’t the same.

So I head outside to see what I can see at this time an abulance with it’s lights & sieren going whips into the lane a couple house up from mine, then a fire truck comes blasting down the road misses the lane & locks up his breaks, slams the truck in revere and loses a piece of hose. Still I haven’t spotted the smoke but I can smell it & gran the hose take it through my yard pass it to a neighbor to take up to the truck  & then there was another BOOM. My neighbor who’s garage sits behind my house past a little patch of woods was working on a truck he was under it as it caught fire & exploded. He is fine thank goodness I was fearing the worse as there was 3 cop cars , 4 ambulance & 3 fire trucks. They stayed there for close to 45 minutes.

My neighbor walked away OK with some singed hair. So that was the start of my day & I thought it was going to be boring just doing house work & repairs lol I guess you just never know.

Very sad news she will be missed!  My thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family…

Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) with a patient in a coma

I had got thinking most paranormal research in the area of EVP’s are conducted on “spirits, ghost, a person with out a body”.   With my own personal experiences in the paranormal… living in a haunted house in WV, & having a couple near death experiences myself,  it got me to wondering If there had ever been any research with EVP’s and person’s in a coma?

I would like to conduct research in this area if given a chance I think it would be worth while to look into. I believe that spirits can communicate with us after life so what of the spirits that are truly stuck here do to the fact their body lies in limbo it’s not dead nor full of life yet there it is… it spirit  what happens with it does it stay close by in hopes of regaining it’s body or does it just wonder or slumber?

So Off to Google I go… I came across a few interesting articles & research notes… so I will list them

Abstract:

There are a number of characteristics commonly associated with Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP). If a possible EVP does not exhibit at least some of these characteristics, it may be prudent to set it aside until more evidence is available. This is not to say that a previously unknown characteristic may not be found in a “genuine” EVP, but the majority of examples clearly do show a number of these characteristics., especially items 6, 7 and 9, below. As such, it is recommended that experimenters and researchers become familiar with this list, and seriously consider using it as a means of avoiding false positives.

Justification/Introduction:

By definition, EVP are unexpected voices that are collected on digital and analog recording media and that are not explained by currently known physical principles. They appear to be ubiquitous, in that experimenters around the world are able to collect them with just about anything that will record human voice frequencies and under just about any recording circumstance. Their nature tends to vary relative to the experimenter, recording environment, and technique.

The majority of EVP examples are what is considered Class C, meaning that they are difficult to hear and understand, and it is likely that not all of the words will be correctly deciphered. Nevertheless, Class C examples can sometimes be shown to be phenomenal utterances and often provide useful information.

Even experienced experimenters are liable to mistake some environmental sounds, technology artifacts and editing errors as EVP. For instance, the unconscious intake of breath before speaking might sound like the word “Help.” During field recording, an unnoticed person might be speaking in another part of the building and the resulting recorded words might be mistaken as a phenomenal utterance.

There is a Best Practice which suggests the use of two audio records during experiments in order to reduce false positives. Some experimenters also protect the primary recorder whith a portable radio frequency shield, such as two or more insolated and nested metal containers. However, such precautions can be clumsy, and may be difficult for the average person who is just trying to record a few EVP. Given that it has been experimentally established that EVP can be recorded in conditions isolated from ambient sounds, light and radio frequency contamination, it is reasonable to argue that the average person can expect to record EVP in uncontrolled conditions.(12) If a person is familiar with the more common characteristics of the voices, and is willing to discard examples that do not fall within the “norm,” it is reasonable to say that the resulting EVP are likely to be genuine.

A characteristic test is not an absolute proof for EVP, but if stringently applied, then it should reduce false positives to a reasonable minimum.

Overview

Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) are anomalous, intelligible speech recorded in or produced by electronic devices, and for which no currently understood physical explanations can account. They typically constitute short utterances of just a few words, often in direct response to questions or comments about occurrences in the environment. Reports of EVP have involved virtually every known technology that is capable of supporting human voice. EVP are typically recorded using audio-recording devices or audio-recording computer software. In their basic form, EVP are not heard at the time they are recorded, but only on playback of the recording.

It is correct to say “the study of EVP is,” but there are a number of different forms of EVP and we speak of these in the plural: “EVP are voices…”.

As the field is evolving, real-time, two-way conversations are being reported. The introduction of speech synthesis has also introduced a new direction of study.

EVP is a well-established fact; however, the source of the voices, how they are formed and why, remains an important question that requires considerable research. As will be explained in Characteristics of EVP and Theories, the theory most commonly used to explain the voices is the Survival Hypothesis; however, two alternative explanations that remain viable in the face of research results are that the voices are initiated by the etheric (nonphysical) self of the EVP experimenter or that one aspect of a living person is a biologically evolved awareness that survives physical death as a residue of energy which is able to be detected by electronic instruments. This last theory is commonly referred to as the Quantum-Holographic Hypothesis.
